Alpe d'HuZes: Pedaling towards a cancer-free future

This week our colleague Ferry took part in the Alpe d'Huez challenge. XMDS is proud to support Ferry and his wife and niece on his journey as they take on the Alpe d'Huez challenge. Alpe d'HuZes is a unique sporting event where as much money as possible is raised for cancer research and for improving the quality of life for people with cancer. On a single day, 5000 participants will bike, hike, or run the Alpe d'Huez, attempting a maximum of six climbs under the motto 'giving up is not an option'. The race day is always on the first Thursday in June and is part of a complete week, prepared for a full year. It is a special week full of solidarity, where cancer is openly discussed by everyone.

This year marks Ferry’s sixth Alpe d’HuZes mission. Alongside his wife and niece, Ferry forms team "Bocht 12", ready to take on the mountain and make a difference.
